Preformed Line Products (PLP) expects Visibility and Enhanced Performance

COGITA will supply PLP Asia Pacific, including Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand and Thailand with a new ERP system.
When talking about the reasons for selecting COGITA and Epicor ERP, here is what Chee-Wee Seow, PLP CFO Asia Pacific, said:
"Epicor's ERP was a clear winner in functionality and technology.
This gave us the confidence that the system was a solution we
could use from day 1. There is also additional functionality for
us to grow into over the coming year."
PLP manufactures and distributes across Australasia, electrical power line equipment, fittings and cable hardware for the telecommunications and power sectors including solar power.

Putting a Spark into Manufacturing Processes at ETEL
|

ETEL selected the Epicor ERP software suite from COGITA recently. Epicor will be implemented and supported by COGITA, to consolidate information from numerous silo databases to spark up production efficiencies throughout the company.
You will see ETEL distribution transformers, prominently located on the street corners in Australasian urban centres, or mounted on poles around the countryside.
"Epicor ERP will allow everyone to have easy access to all essential
data. We are expecting what other Epicor clients have reported -
better communication throughout the company and overall, a
smoother operation".

C E Bartlett covers Australia with the help of COGITA and Epicor ERP
C E Bartlett is a family-owned company that is recognised as an Australian leader in products made from industrial textiles such as canvas and woven polyethylene.

Kent Phillips off to the UK
|
|
Kent Phillips, COGITA's Senior ERP Technical Consultant, is changing location to the other side of the world to support his very clever wife, Andelka Vuletic-Phillips. He will continue his technical support duties remotely mostly during our night time.
Following her first class honours LLM Degree from Auckland University, Andelka was awarded a Major Scholarship to attend Oxford University for the next three to four years to work towards her law doctorate. Her thesis will investigate the adequacy of genetic privacy law.
Andelka hopes her work will contribute to improvements in the law and to raising the public's understanding of the law in this area.

COGITA's HelpNet support site was recently upgraded to improve the usability from a client perspective. The searches and ability to log calls has been improved and there is a major difference when you close calls. You should now select 'No, I don't need this question answered now' when you update a call. This is instead of a checkbox in the old system.
